Cristallin Ed Starink's debut album from 1981.

Later Ed re-released a newly remastered version on his Retrospection CD album in 1991 and in 2012 as digital re-release. The tracklist mentioned hereafter refers to the LP version from 1981, but is identical to the digital re-release as well.

The album contains of 7 compositions by Ed Starink plus "Sarabande" (from the "French Suite No. 1 in d minor", BWV 812) from Johann Sebastian Bach. The "A-Side" is in fact the "Cristallin" part of the album, whereas the "B-Side" is the "Le Fantôme de l'Esprit" suite with its tracks "Perfide", "Le Rêve Prends Forme", "L'Épouvante Surgit", and "Menaçant". The album has been released on vinyl by M.C.R. Productions first.

Recorded by Ben Uijtjens and Peter Brussée at M.C.R. Studios.
